Powhiri Invitation

POWHIRI INVITATION   12 February 2017   Kia ora Koutou, The staff and current pupils at the school would like to invite  all new pupils and their whanau  to our school with a “Powhiri” (Welcome Ceremony).   This will take place this: Thursday 16 February at 8.45 am.   We will congregate in front of the school office. (If it is wet on the Cove deck).  The ceremony will take about 20 minutes, followed by a light kai in the staffroom. […]

Life Education Visits

Ranfurly Shield Visit

The Ranfurly Shield came to Beach School today. There was lots of excitement especially amongst some of the (much) ‘older’ children! Big thanks to Thames Valley rugby for sharing it with us. Special mention to the Rawiri family, with ex student Harae Rawiri hiding underneath the mascott costume, much to the delight of his siblings and ex teachers.
